Restigouche multicultural Festival

Restigouche County is located in north-central New Brunswick. The county is named for the Restigouche River which flows through the county and is famous for its salmon pools. This summer we were invited to attend the Annual Multicultural Festival that was held in Atholville.

Alongside M.A.P (Make Africa Proud) a youth dancing troupe, we shared a full day of entertainment and engagement through constructive youth dialogue. Members of the Atholville community prepared meals from different cultures which was accompanied with traditional dance and key word speech from the Mayor of Atholville.

As Author’s Collection Team, we were privileged to be part of this joyous event and we will back next year. Click to check more pictures from this event!
